Perform marketing research to identify new merchant opportunities
Identify, manage and grow the Q-service opportunities and relationships
Specifically target and grow the restaurant, food, grocery, and other strategic industry verticals
Develop engaging and converting proposals to B2B clients, merchants, eCommerce, and online marketplace vendors
Make presentations to clients and ensure closure of major deals
Engage target audience across various digital and social media handles
Specifically attract eCommerce and storefront operators especially opportunities offered by payment gateway providers
Develop an annual plan that delivers on the company’s goals and targets
Track all sales and marketing activities to support the annual sales plans and targets
Develop performance metrics to measure the progress of all sales and marketing efforts by the team and ensure these are tracked on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Build an SOP for the Sales and Marketing department based on what works and what has been tested within and outside the organization
Hire, train, motivate the Sales and Marketing team to ensure productive contribution to the overall goals of the organization
Onboard 20,000 merchants, B2B, and eCommerce opportunities over the next 24 months
Engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
Deliver specific solutions that address the unique requirements of clients in the industry we operate
Constantly engage customers through surveys, feedbacks, testimonials and ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction in the use of the Company’s services
Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship.
Build strong relationships with customers, clients, business partners.
Represent the Company’s brand within and outside
Understand the company’s products and services and be able to communicate its unique value proposition to customers
Develop sales pitches and responses to objections to easing the sales process for the sales and marketing team
Develop high converting sales and marketing scripts for pitches to customers
Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Job Requirement:
5-8 years of experience in Business Development/ Sales
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field will be an added advantage)
Strong interpersonal skills
Industry Knowledge in eCommerce and B2B sales
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Attention to details
Great analytical and problem-solving skills
Evidence of past targets and KPIs’s been met
Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
